WDO Member Webinar: DMD research updates presented at the MDA conference

On Tuesday, 28 April, the World Duchenne Organization (WDO) hosted a members-only webinar to share the latest developments in Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) research.

The session was organized by Sally Hofmeister, WDO Board member/Duchenne CAB Coordinator, and moderated by Dr. Eric Camino, PPMD’s VP Research and Innovation/current Chair of WDO’s Scientific Directors Committee.

Updates on DMD Research at the MDA Conference

The webinar brought together pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies actively engaged in DMD research and therapeutic development. Presentations were delivered by a number of distinguished clinicians on behalf of Entrada, BioMarin, Roche, Solid BioSciences, Italfarmaco, Dyne, Santhera, Edgewise Therapeutics, and Sarepta.

Each company provided updates on their current research programs and clinical trials, providing insight into the DMD drug development landscape.
