Diagnosis and management of Duchenne muscular dystrophy

Are you caring for someone affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy? Next to staying up to date about the most recent developments on care, treatment and therapies for DMD, it’s also paramount to provide families with the same quality of information.

These family friendly resources are based on articles from the Lancet Neurology on diagnosis and management of Duchenne muscular dystrophy. It consists of three parts:

  1. Diagnosis, and neuromuscular, rehabilitation, endocrine, and gastrointestinal and nutritional management
  2. Respiratory, cardiac, bone health, and orthopaedic management
  3. Primary care, emergency management, psychosocial care, and transitions of care across the lifespan
